Hotel San Buena is located at 11 S. Ash Street, Ventura, CA 93001. It’s just off US-101 and intersects E Main Street.
Overnight Parking in our secured garage is $20/night for hotel guests.
Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am.
Early check-in can be requested for arrivals between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on your arrival day. While we’ll do our best to have your room ready, early check-in is based on room availability and is not guaranteed.
What if I’m arriving before 1:00 PM?
If you plan to arrive before 1:00 PM, we recommend booking the room for the night before so it will be ready when you arrive.
Guests must be 21 or older to book a room. For security purposes, all guests will be asked to provide a valid government or state-issued photo ID and a credit card at check-in.
Yes, please contact the front desk to arrange bag storage before or after your stay.
Yes, we offer complimentary wifi for all guests.
Yes, we allow dogs at Hotel San Buena in our Courtyard Building only. We charge a Non-Service Animal Cleaning Fee of $100 plus tax per dog per night to ensure no pet allergens are left in the rooms for future guests. Please call Guest Services at (805) 770-1911 to check pet room availability. Limit of two (2) dogs per suite.
Service animals are not subject to fees. ADA’s definition of a Service Animal is an animal specifically trained to perform a task for a disabled person. Disabilities include physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disabilities. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not considered Service Animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA.
Hotel San Buena is a smoke-free property. Evidence of smoking will result in a cleaning fee of $500 plus taxes.
Overnight hotel guests are welcome to take personal photographs or videos while enjoying their stay, so long as the images and videos are for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Professional photography/videography is only allowed for contracted weddings or special events taking place at the hotel. All commercial photoshoots are reviewed by our sales team, and charges generally apply. Hotel San Buena reserves the right to request the cessation of any documentation at any time should the work compromise the enjoyment of our guest experience.
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hotel’s property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will, however, make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
If you need to alter your reservation, please contact our front desk. All cancellations must be submitted 48 hours before 12:00 pm of your check-in date. Cancellations made after the 48-hour period will be charged a 1-night stay plus tax.
